St Andrew's Church

Welcome to
St Andrew's Church
Wingfield is a small village in North Suffolk with a large church. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor from further afield you will receive a warm welcome at our services and other events.
If you are interested in history you will find much to explore in St Andrew’s: the building, its furnishings and memorials to the people who were its patrons in earlier centuries.
Whatever your reason for visiting us, we hope our website will enhance your experience, and if you need further information, please get in touch.
The church is open every day:
During British Summer Time: 10:00am-5pm
Other months: 10:00am-3:30pm

Safeguarding
Our parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our Safeguarding Officer.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact our Safeguarding Officer Helen Joslin on 07894 562172 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, Karen Galloway on 07785 621319 or email safeguarding@cofesuffolk.org. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
